Airtight zippers Air and watertight zippers come from the diving industry. Due to the difficulty of working with them, we only build them into models with a minimum latex thickness of 0.90mm, as can be found in our Heavy Latex suit.
Individual zippers of this type can also be ordered from us.
Anatomical masks Anatomical masks are malleable dipped latex products. We also call these ‘anatomically formed’ due to their far better fitted form than normal dipped latex clothing.

Codpiece models A codpiece is a removable ‘holder’ worn on pants, kept in place with a snap. Behind this there is a hole for the cock and balls. We have in our collection jeans, shorts and suits with this fitting. The codpiece itself comes in various versions, for example with coloured stripes, with rivet trim or transparent. Any of these can be ordered from Black Style.

Chlorination of latex The chlorination of latex is a process, in which the surface is chemically sealed. The properties of the latex remain intact, but the surface becomes silky smooth and also slips very well on the skin. Even without polish the material has a silky sheen. The clothes are so much easier to care for. A depth care with silicone oil is nevertheless reasonable.
The disadvantage of this process is that chlorinated parts can no longer be glued without problems. Repairs or attaching them to other parts with chlorinated material is very difficult or impossible. Only with very thick material can be glued by sanding. The chlorination also changes the smell of the material. The popular rubber smell disappears to a large extent. Although the properties of the material remain fundamentally unchanged, chlorinated parts initially feel somewhat firmer and stiffer. However, by regular wear, the effect disappears again for the most part.
We do not offer chlorination as a service.

Latex cleaner Latex that is to be glued together must be clean. To do this use a lint-free rag and our latex cleaner. Spirits (alcohol) can also be used, but it takes longer to dry.
For testing or repairs we are happy to send latex scraps. Please let us know what colour and thickness you need.
Order the cleaner here.
Latex cockring, attachable The attachable latex cockring is available with an inside diameter of 40, 45, 50 or 55 mm. It can be attached to various suits without a front zip.
Latex colours Latex comes in more than 60 different colours. These include metallic tones, transparent colours and some that reflect black light. In addition, there can also be printed patterns. Most of the colours are always in stock. We are happy to send samples. You can get a complete overview in our colour sample set or here in our web store.
Important note about latex colours White, yellow as well as transparent are all susceptible to contact with copper or any alloys containing copper, like brass. Any belt buckles or jewelry with copper must be kept far away from your latex clothing. The stains caused by contact between the two cannot be removed!
Neon colours Neon colours are bright vibrant colours with a special effect, they glow in black light. The brighter the neon colour the stronger the fluorescent effect. Latex neon colours are always slightly transparent.
Black light is used in darkened rooms e.g. used in clubs, at parties and miniature golf courses for show effects. Black light bulbs are available in many versions, as a fluorescent tube, energy-saving bulb or LED technology. Their light makes neon colours and other fluorescent materials shine. Black light is the colloquial name for UV-A radiation, a range of UV radiation. Physically, the following happens: Particularly bright materials, absorb the UV light and then emit it back as visible light.
Here you can find latex in neon colours.
Latex glue Latex glue is a white latex resin that we use for thin and middle thicknesses of latex up to 0.60mm. We glue heavier latex with a vulcanizing fluid.
Directions for use Clean the surfaces to be glued with our latex cleaner and then put glue on both the surfaces. Now allow it to dry. When the glue layer become completely transparent the two surfaces can be pressed together. Round items to roll over the freshly glued area are a great help. The stability of the new seam should now be good enough to try on. The glue and the seam are completely dried after 48 hours. To test glues or for repairs we are happy to send latex scraps. Please let us know the necessary thickness and colour.

Liquid latex There are liquid latex in various viscosities from undiluted, low-viscosity latex to puttable pastes. The viscosity refers to the degree of flowability. The higher the viscosity, the thicker or less flowable is the latex. After that you choose the applications.
Processing Our latex is pre-vulcanised and dries in the air. The thinner the latex, the faster the applied layer dries. Absorbent substrates accelerate the drying process.
We offer our latex in three fluid grades (viscosities). These can be mixed with each other. Liquid latex can be diluted with distilled water. With latex thickeners, a thick to trowelable consistency is achieved.
As the primary colours, any new colour can be mixed. In the liquid state, the coloured latex is much brighter. Only after drying the final shade is achieved. Pink turns a strong red, gray turns black. Metallic and glitter effects can be matched with the right one to achieve colour blends.
The liquid latex can be applied like paint. Suitable are sponges, brushes or rollers. Diluted it can also be sprayed. The tools are cleaned in distilled water. If the tools are to be reused, they must be hermetically sealed. For dyeing undyed latex, water-based colour pigments are suitable.
Common Applications
Dipping The dipping method is particularly suitable for smaller objects. The thicker the latex, the less smooth surfaces can be achieved. Blistering and dripping noses increase the less fluid the latex is set. With the strength of the dipping film also increases the drying time.
Mold Making and Impression The thinner the liquid latex used, the finer details can be molded off. Depending on the size of the mold, it can be stabilized with additional layers of thick latex or latex paste. For coarser, smooth impressions, the latex paste can also be used directly. Several thinly applied layers, dry faster than a thick layer. Latex impressions shrink up to 10% in the drying process.
Textile coatings Latex and textile substrates stick together very well. In most cases, a thicker latex is better because it does not flow through the fabric. Fabrics and felts can also be perfectly bonded with liquid latex. For the production of non-slip soles on socks and felt shoes.
Effect make-up and bodypainting To create special make-up effects, the latex is applied with a sponge or spatula and the desired structures are modeled.
Facts about liquid latex There are different types of liquid latex:
Liquid latex, free from ammonia: solids content above 60% Liquid latex, with 0.3% ammonia content: solids content over 60% Liquid latex, with 0.6% ammonia content: solids content approx. 60% Industrial latex, with more than 0.6 ammonia content: solids content approx. 50%
Latex is properly stored at temperatures between + 5 ° C and + 30 ° C. Frost makes the latex useless. The containers must be hermetically sealed and stored in a dark and dry place. So stored the latex keeps at least 1 year. Before processing, shake or stir the container.
Latex processing
Dipped Latex Dipped latex products are developed through an industrial process, whereby the product cast is dipped into liquid latex. Dipped latex underwear can, for the most part, be found in sex-shops. These goods are usually less expensive, but of a lower quality than non-dipped products. An additional issue is often the fit of the products, as the casts used are often not well fitted to the human form (to increase the profit margin). Some articles, like gloves and condoms can only be produced this way.
Glued Latex This type of process is best suited for latex. The individual pieces of an item, for example a shirt, are cut to size from specially developed patters. These latex pieces are then glued together at the seams. These glued seams are durable and flexible, which are the decisive advantages in contrast to the other processes. Individual tailored fits are also possible.
Sewn Latex This is a similar process to that used with regular textiles and is especially used for outerwear. Jackets, cloaks or pants all have prominent seams. This process is less suited for tight clothing, as the sewn seams are not terribly flexible, the threads tear or they cut into the latex.
Latex thickness Latex sheets are produced in variable thicknesses. These run between 0.10 and 2.00mm. We work with many different thicknesses in our products. Each model is made with the thickness best suited for the item.
The most common thicknesses are:
0.35mm. Fine latex for t-shirts, underwear and clothing. 0.60mm. A mid-level thickness. This is suitable for jeans and loose-fitting jackets. 0.90mm and thicker. Heavy latex. We use these sheets to make motorcycle jackets and bondage gear.
Items made to measure in thicknesses other than those indicated here are, naturally, no problem.
Letterings Many of our models can be fitted with letterings on the back. On the picture you can see some examples. Please contact us, if you want other motifs. We will be glad to make you an offer.
Lubricants Lubes, often used during sex, cannot be recommended for use when putting on latex items, except for processed briefs or with condoms. Please make sure that the lubricant you do use when wearing latex items is water-soluble. These can be used with latex. Lubricants with oil or fat in them (like Crisco) should be avoided, as these can damage/destroy latex. A selection of lubricants can be found here.
Lycra Brand name for an elastic material. We have a small collection of Lycra items including t-shirts and shorts.

Options Options or extras are additions to the basic models. This means our cat suits can be supplemented with gloves, masks and many other extras. Our assortment corresponds in large part to this sort of ‘modular’ system. In the mid-nineties we developed our patterns and styles with this system in mind in order to provide as individual an assortment as possible.

Polish Latex polishes are frequently used care products. Using them gives the latex a matte gloss. They are especially good to use when putting your latex gear into storage.
Application Spray a little bit of the polish onto the latex with a spray bottle and spread it around with a soft sponge. Let it dry quickly and your latex clothes are ready to be put away.

Raglan cut, raglan sleeve A form for the tailoring of the sleeve. With the raglan sleeve the seams for the sleeves go up to the collar. This model is particularly suited for multi-coloured t-shirts
Raw Rubber Raw rubber a new material. It feels like rubber, it smells like rubber, but it has a matt surface. With our collecion the seasoned rubberist can live his fetish even during the day. All our raw rubber clothes are sewn and some of them have lining.
Roller Buckle A commonly used belt buckle with one or two hooks. We have all the usual widths in stock. See also metal accessories
Rubber Originally a product of caoutchouc vulcanization, but also the generic term for numerous mixtures with or without natural caoutchouc. The principle component of the latex sheets we use is natural caoutchouc harvested from plantations in Southeast Asia.
Rubber vulcanizing fluid This glue is particularly suited for heavy latex above 0.60mm thick. The thinner latexes are glued with latex glue.
Directions for use Clean the surfaces to be glued with our latex cleaner. Vulcanizing fluid is a contact glue and thus must be applied to both sides of the latex to be glued together. A fine paintbrush is very suitable for this. The layer of vulcanizing fluid needs approximately 10 minutes to dry and then the two surfaces must be pressed together. The stability of the new seam should now be good enough to try on. It will completely dry after 48 hours.
To test glues or for repairs we are happy to send latex scraps. Please let us know your necessary thickness and colour.

Silicon oil Liquid silicon. Silicon oil, quite contrary to its name, contains neither oil nor fat! Silicon oil can safely be used with all your latex clothing and products, as opposed to real oils/fats that destroy latex.
Silicon spray Silicon sprays are best suited to create an intense gloss on latex items. Please be sure to carefully read the manufacturer’s instructions on use. There is a danger of slipping when used in enclosed spaces! The mist from the spray leaves a very stubborn, slippery film on smooth floors.
Order Silicon spray here.
Sleep Sack / Sauna Sack As the name says, a trip to the sauna without leaving the house; just lay in (or be put into) the sack. From your own body temperature you very quickly start to sweat and thus get the desired sauna effect. Sleeves inside and/or straps for tying can prevent a person from freeing him or herself from the sack. Zippers allow free access to all important areas. Never leave a person tied up and unattended in a sauna sack.

Talcum powder Talcum powder can be used to assist getting into latex clothing and makes putting on particularly tight models easier. It makes the skin slippery without making it oily. We also recommend powdering clothing after washing and drying them. Put a little talcum powder inside the clothing and hold the openings (arms, neck, etc.) closed and distribute the powder by shaking. A large shaker or a brush can also be used. As an alternative there are liquid assistants.

Vacuum bed You can lie between two layers of latex and close the bag with a zipper. Then with a pump a vacuum is created. Due to the vacuum the latex presses close, very close to the body in the vacuum bed and completely presses itself onto the person. The person inside breathes through a hose found near the mouth. Usually a vacuum bag is made of a thinner material so that the latex can quite beautifully shape itself around the body. This produces a very erotic picture for the beholder. Those who have seen a vacuum bed of 0.35mm clear latex with ‘shrink-wrapped contents’ will always remember the beautiful, almost marble-like body casting. Never leave a person unattended in a vacuum bed.

Zip-guard strip A strip of latex used on the inside of a zipper to cover the teeth. Among its functions is to keep hair or skin from being caught in the zipper and to ensure that moisture from inside does not get out. High-quality latex clothing should always have zip-guards with the zippers. See also Zippers.
Zippers Making our products we use three basic types of zippers:
- Plastic zippers - Metal zippers - Airtight zippers
We always have a large selection in stock. Please ask about specific colours or lengths for your individual needs. We always do our best to deliver exactly what you need.
Zippers, 3-way 3-way as well as 2-way zippers are zippers with 3 (or 2) sliders. Our body suit, for example, has a 3-way zipper. One of the sliders sits at the top and is used for getting into (or out of) the suit. The other two make a pair that can be moved anywhere along the bag and create openings. Individual zippers with various colours, sliders and end pieces can be delivered as necessary.
Zipper with two-sided slider Zipper slider which can be opened from both the inside and outside. We use these for the sauna and sleeping sacks. Individual zippers of this sort can also be ordered from us.
